The CAD Academy's national "LEED Dream Home Contest for Students using ArchiCAD" is ending on February 28th, 2013. We appreciate all of the schools that participated. Winning entries will be displayed and announced here, on our main webpage on March 8th.

Announcing The CAD Academy Release v.6. Our 5th and best release ever! The CAD Academy v.6 is value based and available at a fraction of the cost of other design education packages. Release v.6 contains all updated versions of each software platform and a brand new Educational Portal for instructors and students. Information gathered from our STEM based courses provide valuable information used for Student Outcomes Assessments and align with most federal, state and local CTE requirements.
The newly created portal provides a wealth of new and exciting STEM based educational tools including interactive lessons, multi-media presentations, video tutorials, power-points and real world projects. The portal allows students and instructors access to the software for use during non-school hours.

Congratulations to Robert Hollifield at Ganado High School for his winners in the State Skills USA and Native Skills. His students took home the Gold & 3rd in CAD Drafting and Gold, 2nd, & 3rd in the Board Drafting. One of his Sophomore placed 2nd (Silver Medal) in the State SkillsUSA Mechanical Board Drafting.
Jerry Richardson Prairie High School in Idaho for taking the GOLD in architecture for the State of Idaho in Architecture.
Dr. Brison Torbert from Peoria Unified High School in Arizona for two bronze metals in animation using Blender, three silver medals in engineering technology using A+CAD and five gold medals in Real World Design using Blender and 1st place Gold using SolidWorks.
